Appointments & Scheduling

New patient exams are scheduled during the morning between 8AM and 1PM. Typically, all starts and finishes are scheduled during the morning hours in order to allow ample time to place and remove braces.

Most routine adjustment appointments can be scheduled after school.

If Dr. Stevenson or Dr. Hanis determine that a longer appointment time is needed, then the patient may be scheduled during school hours. This is not routine, but is a possibility.

As with any appointment in our office, a school or work excuse will be provided.

How much time should you schedule for each appointment type?

• Initial Examination: 1 hour
• Consultation (if not part of the initial visit): 30 minutes
• Recall Appointment: 30 minutes
• Initial Records and Bonding Appointment: 1.5 hours
• Final Records and Debonding Appointment: 1.5 hours
• Adjustment Appointments: 20 minutes
