Your First Visit

At your first appointment, you will be greeted and introduced to Dr. Stevenson and/or Dr. Hanis. We will also introduce you to our staff and show you around our office. We ask that you bring the completed patient information form that was sent to you prior to this first appointment. We will then gather the additional personal information and preliminary clinical information we need to best serve you. We will escort you to the exam room and conduct your initial orthodontic examination. We will explain the orthodontic process and how we like to work with our patients.

Once the initial examination is completed, Dr. Stevenson or Dr. Hanis will present you with his clinical findings and make a recommendation for treatment. Joyce, our treatment coordinator, will then review the clinical findings, present you with the necessary administrative information and discuss fees and payment options.

When you are comfortable with our findings and recommendations for treatment, you may begin treatment that day if an opening in the schedule exists, or schedule to come back another day. We are here to serve you and want to make treatment as convenient as possible.
